Anubis\u2018 Aufgabe vor dem Totengericht liegt darin, die Herzen der Verstorbenen auf der Wage zu w\u00e4gen, w\u00e4hrend Thot das Ergebnis und den Prozess protokolliert. Zudem ist Anubis daf\u00fcr zust\u00e4ndig, den Schutz der Toten zu garantieren und diese sch\u00f6n herzurichten, sie einzubalsamieren und anschliessend zu mumifizieren.
