class=\"stk-highlight\">Nephtys<\/span><\/a> war seine Schwester und seine Gemahlin. Gem\u00e4ss Weinand wurde Seth durch den Kampf gegen <a href=\"https:\/\/mythologien.ch\/index.php\/horus\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"878\"><span style=\"color: #FFFFFF;\" class=\"stk-highlight\">Horus<\/span><\/a> entmannt, wobei Seth ihm daf\u00fcr ein Auge ausstechen konnte. Aus diesem Grund trennte sich die Gemahlin vom W\u00fcstengott, da dieser unfruchtbar wurde. (Weinand, 2016, S. 85)<br><br>Laut Selket ist er der Gott des Chaos, der Vernichtung und der Gewalt. Er gilt als ein W\u00fcstengott, welcher in der W\u00fcste selbst haust. Er z\u00e4hlt als Schutzgott der Oasen, wird jedoch weitgehend als b\u00f6ser und sch\u00e4dlicher Gott angesehen. (Selket i, 2021) <br><br>Seth wird, laut Salis, beil\u00e4ufig als starker und kr\u00e4ftiger Gott bezeichnet. Er ist reich an Zauberkraft und die \u00c4gypter und \u00c4gypterinnen machen Seth f\u00fcr diverse Naturkatastrophen verantwortlich. Es heisst, er wird nie sterben, da die negative, zerst\u00f6rerische und chaotische Kraft auch nie verschwinden wird. Die \u00c4gypter und \u00c4gypterinnen sehen diese Art von Kraft auch als notwendig f\u00fcr das Fortbestehen der Welt, um das Gleichgewicht zwischen Gut und B\u00f6se zu bewahren.
