Prinzessin. Er gilt als Gott des Weines und als Gott der Vegetation. Ausserdem ist er bekannt als Gott der Ekstase. Seine Mutter starb noch bevor Dionysos geboren wurde, weil sie <a href=\"https:\/\/mythologien.ch\/index.php\/zeus\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/mythologien.ch\/index.php\/zeus\/\"><span style=\"color: #162521;\" class=\"stk-highlight\">Zeus<\/span><\/a> bat, sich ihr in seiner kompletten g\u00f6ttlichen Gestalt zu zeigen. <a href=\"https:\/\/mythologien.ch\/index.php\/hera\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/mythologien.ch\/index.php\/hera\/\"><span style=\"color: #162521;\" class=\"stk-highlight\">Hera<\/span><\/a> brachte Semele zu diesem Wunsch, da sie ihr sagte, wenn <a href=\"https:\/\/mythologien.ch\/index.php\/zeus\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/mythologien.ch\/index.php\/zeus\/\"><span style=\"color: #162521;\" class=\"stk-highlight\">Zeus<\/span><\/a> sie wirklich liebte, er sich in seiner g\u00f6ttlichen Gestalt zeige. Jedoch konnte sie den Anblick nicht ertragen und starb dabei. Hermes rettete Dionysos anschliessend aus der Asche der Mutter und wurde in den Oberschenkel des G\u00f6ttervaters eingen\u00e4ht. (Weidner, 2013, S. 42f.)<br><br>Er liebe es, gem\u00e4ss Die G\u00f6tter, zu feiern und sich zu berauschen und vor allem habe er das Ansehen genossen, welches er von seinen Anh\u00e4ngern bekommen habe und die Feste, welche ihm gewidmet worden seien. (Die G\u00f6tter k, 2021)<br><br>Nach Wilkinson ist Dionysos zudem ein Gestaltenwandler, sodass er sowohl in tierischer Form sowie auch in menschlicher Gestalt erscheinen kann. Er wurde zum Schutzgott der Schauspielenden ernannt. Dionysos wird oft mit einem Becher in der Hand und mit Weinr\u00e4nken im Haar dargestellt.
