Da <a href=\"https:\/\/mythologien.ch\/index.php\/hera\/\"><span style=\"color: #162521;\" class=\"stk-highlight\">Hera<\/span><\/a> ihren eigenen Sohn als h\u00e4sslich und sehr langsam empfand, hatte sie ihn immer abgelehnt. Sie hat ihn sogar vom Olymp geworfen. Als Resultat hinkt Hephaistos durch diesen Sturz.
