class=\"stk-highlight\">Apollo<\/span><\/a>. Sie gilt als G\u00f6ttin der Jagd, der Jugend (manchmal auch der Wildnis oder der Natur) aber auch als G\u00f6ttin des Mondes. Ihre Aufgabe besteht darin, die jungen und noch unverheirateten M\u00e4dchen zu besch\u00fctzen. Artemis zieht es jedoch vor, alleine zu leben und zu jagen. Sie jagt vor allem in den W\u00e4ldern mit der Unterst\u00fctzung ihrer Hunde und sonstigen wilden Tiere. Sie erlaubt es nur wenigen Anh\u00e4ngerinnen, welches meistens Nymphen sind, sie bei ihrer Jagd oder Reise zu begleiten. Alle ihre Anh\u00e4ngerinnen m\u00fcssen sich genau an ihre Regeln halten, wie zum Beispiel, dass sie jungfr\u00e4ulich sein m\u00fcssen und genauso keusch zu sein haben wie Artemis selbst. (Weidner, 2013, S. 30f.)<br><br>Artemis wird, nach Die G\u00f6tter, als eine r\u00e4chende, strikte und strafende G\u00f6ttin beschrieben, die keinen Makel oder Regelbruch duldet. Zudem gelte sie als sehr brutale und grausame J\u00e4gerin, die durch ihr Geschick viele Gegner t\u00f6ten konnte.
